Report Order conformity Full verification Full + report verification table

Why Level 1 costs less: it is a smaller scope, not a smaller job done badly. You get order conformity confirmed — model, quantity, mix, carton marks, visible transit damage. You do not get material, dimension or physical verification. The report says so explicitly.

Why Level 3 costs more: the inspector spends 2–3 days instead of one, samples closer to full coverage, examines materials point by point, and checks every third-party report you were given. That work is the cost.

No weekend surcharge
No holiday surcharge
No overtime charge

For context: industry rates for regional inspection specialists run from $180 to $350 per man-day. Larger international firms quote $300–$550. Our Level 1 sits below the specialist range as a low-risk entry point; Level 2 matches the market mainstream; Level 3 remains below the international firms and includes container loading supervision.

What no level includes

Not includedWhy
Any product testing or accredited reportWe are not CMA/CNAS accredited. At Level 3 we verify the factory's reports, we do not issue them.
Travel outside GuangdongQuoted separately and disclosed before you commit.
Sourcing, supplier selection or negotiationNot our business, and it would compromise the independence you are paying for.
Additional man-daysQuoted before we start, never added to your invoice afterwards.

Optional add-ons

ServicePriceNote
Container loading supervisionIncluded at Level 3Or quoted separately at Level 1–2 if you want it on a smaller verification.
During-production checkQuoted at the applicable levelOften prevents expensive rework — problems found at 50% production cost a fraction of what they cost after packing.
Pre-production checkQuoted at the applicable levelBefore materials are committed. Cheapest possible moment to catch a wrong specification.
Factory auditOn requestCapability, certifications, QC process, capacity verification. Usually before the first order, not after.
Repeat order re-check within 14 daysFreeIf our report said the goods matched the order and they arrived defective, we re-check and refund the Level 2 or Level 3 fee.

How different is this from an accredited laboratory?

They are not substitutes. If you need to know whether the goods match your order, we are the right service. If you need evidence for a customs hold, a marketplace listing, or a dispute, you need an accredited laboratory. We will tell you which one you need — including when that is not us.

What one man-day means

One inspector, one full working day at your factory. Travel is included but not counted as verification time. If your factory is three hours away, we travel there and still give you a full working day on site — we will tell you in advance if an order needs more than the quoted man-days.

Level 2 typically takes 1.5–2 man-days and Level 3 takes 2–3, because the checks themselves take longer. We quote the man-days before we start, not after.

If your order is small

There is no minimum order value, but economically a one-man-day verification makes sense when the shipment risk justifies it. If your order is small, we will tell you honestly whether verification is worth it or whether a simpler check is enough. Sometimes we talk buyers out of booking us.

How to pay

Payment is due before the verification date. Bank transfer or card. We invoice you directly — the factory has no involvement in the payment and receives no part of it.

⚠️ Pricing marked as provisional. The numbers on this page are placeholders while the commercial terms are being finalised. They will be confirmed before the site goes live.

Questions

1. What is the actual difference between levels?

Sampling coverage, man-days, and depth of checking. Level 1 confirms order conformity in one day. Level 2 adds appearance, materials, dimensions and physical tests across 1.5–2 days. Level 3 samples near full coverage, examines materials point by point, verifies every third-party report, tests to your contractual load standard, and supervises loading across 2–3 days.

2. Why is Level 1 below the industry rate?

Because the scope is genuinely smaller. You are paying for order conformity confirmation, not a reduced version of a full check. The report states plainly what was not covered.

3. Does Level 3 include laboratory testing?

No. It includes verification of the factory's test reports — we check that each report exists, that the standard and values cover what you need, and that the tested model matches what you are buying. We do not perform the tests. If you need new testing, we can introduce you to an accredited laboratory; the fee goes directly to them.

4. Can I mix levels within one order?

Yes. If you have several SKUs and want Level 3 on the high-value ones and Level 1 on the rest, we can price them separately. Each SKU is treated as an independent lot for AQL sampling in any case.

5. What if the goods do not match the order?

The report states each discrepancy with photographs and numbers, and recommends whether to release, condition the release, or hold. The commercial decision and the conversation with the factory are yours. What happens when verification fails →

6. Do you charge for the report?

No. The verification report, the photographs and the AQL table are in the man-day. If a provider charges extra for the report, treat that as a warning sign.

7. Is your report a certificate?

No. It is an order verification statement recording what we checked against your documents. It has no legal standing and cannot be used for customs clearance, marketplace approval or litigation.

8. Do you offer discounts for repeat orders?

Volume terms are available for ongoing programmes. Ask us.

9. What if I need more man-days than quoted?

We say so in the quotation. Very large containers with several SKUs, or contractual load testing, may need more. You approve the total before we start, and it never appears as a surprise on your invoice.

10. Can you help with accredited laboratory testing?

We can connect you with an accredited laboratory. The cost goes directly to the laboratory — we do not handle or take any part of it. At Level 3 we verify their report against your requirement.
